Hello, I'm Mage! Obviously not my real name, but yes.
I graduated as a Multimedia Artist, so I'm extremely appreciative and fascinated by all things related to art! Although who wouldn't be? I mainly focus on graphic design!
I have a very extensive anime and movie list, check that out if you'd like!
My favorite type of media usually lean towards darker themes such as any type of horror, thriller, dark fantasy, etc.
That being said, my favorite directors are the Safdie brothers, Lars Von Trier, and Gaspar Noe. Although, it's really hard to pick a "favorite" movie... and if you're wondering, I'm still perfectly capable of enjoying happy and light-hearted movies!
My favorite manga would be Berserk, Aku no Hana, Oyasumi Punpun, and Chainsaw Man. Although I don't read a lot of manga!
My favorite books would be the Chaos Walking trilogy, Sputnik Sweetheart and The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Yes, I'm very outdated... although I've tried to pick up reading again. I've been starting with those books that go viral on Tiktok but I don't like them very much... Haruki Murakami used to be my favorite as a teenager, but I eventually got tired of reading his books--I've always thought he wrote women weirdly. People have recommended Mieko Kawakami though and I've been enjoying reading her books!
Favorite anime is always the hardest because I usually enjoy most of the anime I watch. A lot of them hold a special place in my heart, too. Just not harem ones...
